This online exhibition aims to Showcase a series of pictures i have taken that all reflect simillar elements and a central theme. The elements shared by all these pictures is fairly straight foward and has to do with what editing choices I made when running my pictures through Photoshop to increase the asthetic appeal. These common elements include the use application of desaturation, Brightness levels, Selective colour, exposure and contrast.
The theme which runs throughout my work is the subject matter and setting of my photo's which includes things typical of urbanized area's in canberra, particularly the suburban area. the subject matter of all my photos are things that are typical of these areas such as roads, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings and light posts.
I have also scoured Flickr for comparative works to allow those interested to look at similar works and provide a starting point for further information on this subject.
